A global, strategic insight and research consultant. Passionate about insights that drive innovation, strategy and tactical decision-making by uncovering people’s drivers and motivations. Extensive experience of developing strong client relationships and partnering in developing brands. Currently on the Board of the AQR, responsible for education and training. Honoured and delighted to have been awarded a Fellowship of the MRS.

Sarah O’Brien
Senior Qualitative Researcher and Founder of Vivid Research

Beginning her career in advertising and TV before reaching board level in market research at TRBI, Sarah then went on to co-found Vivid Research in 2008.

Throughout her career Sarah has remained a hands-on research practitioner and is passionate about uncovering the hidden truth to reveal the deep insights which move clients’ thinking further.
Sarah has particular expertise in interviewing specialist senior or expert audiences, making them feel valued and willing to share the secrets of their experience.

When not working, Sarah can be found rustling up delicious meals for appreciative gatherings of friends and family. She’s also a dab hand at the creative arts ranging from drawing, dressmaking, photography and more recently, glass blowing!
